NY Bar Exam Test-Taking Tips

From Bar/Bri Bar Review

Tip #19

Do I have the same exam as the person sitting next to me?

Everyone has the same exam, but if you discuss the exam with friends after you’ve taken it, you may not feel that way. You might have seen issues one, two and three in the first question, and your friend may have seen issues two, three and four, and so forth. You both can pass the test because of the combined scoring of the New York essays, the Multistate Performance Test, the New York multiple choice questions and the Multistate Bar Exam.

As a rule of thumb, do not discuss the exam. As you finish each section, put it out of your mind.
