NY Bar Exam Test-Taking Tips

From Bar/Bri Bar Review

Tip #20

It’s the day before the exam, and I just know I’m going to fail. Should I skip the test, and take it in six months? What if I can’t remember anything?

Everyone, at some point, feels like they are going to fail. Most likely, you will pass. Studying for the exam is worse than taking it, so no matter how you feel, you should walk in and do your best. If you do pass, it’s over and done with. If you don’t, you have the experience of sitting through the exam, which will benefit you should you need to take it again in February.

No one has ever drawn a blank on the bar exam. Take a deep breath and remember that you never thought you would get through your first year of law school – and look where you are now.
