Lynn M. Kelly has been named the new executive director of City Bar Justice Center, the pro bono arm of the New York City Bar Association. Since 1998, Ms. Kelly has been executive director of MFY Legal Services.
In her new position, effective Saturday, she replaces Maria L. Imperial, who resigned after nine years to become CEO of the Young Women's Christian Association in White Plains.
A graduate of New York University School of Law in 1982, Ms. Kelly served previously as director of litigation in the Harlem Neighborhood Office of the Legal Aid Society and as a clinical and adjunct professor at her alma mater, as well as Fordham University School of Law.
Justice center projects focus on immigration, economic and family matters, serving approximately 25,000 low-income New Yorkers.
