The former deputy chief of the criminal division at the Southern District U.S. Attorney's Office has joined Davis Polk & Wardwell as a special counsel for pro bono.
Ronnie Abrams, a federal prosecutor for the past decade, said she had been approached by some firms about becoming a white-collar defense lawyer but that the new position at Davis Polk, where she had been an associate, was more compelling.
